Playhouse in the Park

The Prairie Playhouse is a Brighton/Commerce City area's first community theater for children! Children's theater is a great way for kids ages 5-18 to:*learn more about theater, *be exposed to the arts, and *develop confidence and public speaking skills through their experience on stage. Next year we will make a new home at the Armory building in downtown Brighton, which is currently being remodeled into a beautiful cultural arts center. PLAYHOUSE IN THE PARK Join Prairie Playhouse Saturday June 6th and 13th from 5-7PM at Reunion Southlawn Park’s outdoor stage (located southwest of 104th/Tower). Bye Bye Birdie (our current show) cast members will perform selected numbers from their upcoming summer show at both events, as well as other Prairie Playhouse adult and child performers! Join us outdoors and bring a picnic dinner for your family. Popcorn and drinks will be for sale, as well as RAFFLE TICKETS! Win prizes such as play tickets, season tickets, Prairie Playhouse t-shirts, food gift certificates, other business donations, dance classes, and more!! Also a separate raffle with just kids’ prizes! Let us entertain you and come support our community’s growing children's theater.
