Newspaper Club

This is a group of kids that are reporters and editors. Anyone can join this club and you do not have to join us for the meetings to be a part of the club. The meetings do allow for more enrichment and group interaction. This is ongoing and does not require you to join us for every issue.
We will showcase a newspaper every 3 months.
Here are some examples of reports / articles that would be nice. If you have another suggestion, feel free to add!
- Report on events that they participated in! (Field day, field trip or volunteer event.....)
- A personal story.
- Favorite Art work.
- Something going on in the community.
- Vacation they went on.
- Cartoon
- Sports page
- Point counter point(state a viewpoint and have someone take the opposite view) can be done in pairs
- Recipes
- Favorite crafts ideas
- Advice column "How do I get along with my brother?".
- Byline...jokes,smart sayings,funny things kids say...run on bottom of pages
- Favorite places (travel destinations) Colorado? or Day Trip Fav's ex.Children's museum
- Boredom Busters (Tips on how to pass time in the car?...)
- More ideas!!!!
-The group would just need to work on their projects individually and then get together once every 3 months to put the paper together.

- Pretty neat, the only down side to this would be that we can not add pictures to the actual layout, but this is for sure a start.
