Locks of love Report
By: Katie
Locks of love is where you can grow your hair and cut it at a salon. It only needs to be 10 inches to be cut. They will give your cut hair to the people that need it the most. Kids under 18 who have no hair because they have cancer. I am also collecting donations for each inch that I have grown my hair. I will be cutting my hair in April or May.

Wild Horses

Wild horses, magic horses, their manes like wind, their tail like a water fall, their eyes like twinkling stars their hooves like drums, as they gallop throughout the land, may they be caught and tamed and still be…….
Wild horses.

Why Not to Buy the Most Popular Brands
An editorial by: Peterson
Why not buy the most popular brands? Well, for one, the companies spend tons of money advertising and to get enough money to keep the company running, the price that you pay for it goes immensely high. Take Lays, for instance. We sometimes watch cartoons at our house, and when the commercials come on, every other commercial is for Lays. When we go to the store, I look at our favorite (Archer Farms at Target, which are less popular) and compare prices, and I find that the Lays are almost triple the price. The most popular brands are also super mass-produced. If you buy the less popular brands, sometimes they are more expensive but they have much better quality. Take as an example McDonald's. They mass-produce their products and advertise immensely, but an Indian restaurant may cost a little more but have better quality food, and advertise little if at all. I enjoy trying the less popular brands because it might be better. I really love Lego bricks, and Lego bricks snap together perfectly with MegaBlocks. A 1000 piece set costs $100 for Legos, but the same number piece set of MegaBlocks costs only $50. So, escape advertising, compare prices, and try something new.
